Read the profile as a timeline

Account age, ordinary activity, item history, name consistency, and message style can add context. A new or quiet account can be legitimate, so one profile detail should not decide the result.

Check whether the listing holds together

Compare the photos, condition, location, model details, and price. Reverse-image checking through a trusted tool may reveal reused photos, but reused images alone do not identify who posted them.

Keep platform protections attached

Moving to direct messages, personal transfers, or an outside checkout can remove records and platform dispute options. Confirm what protection actually applies before paying a deposit.

Plan pickup or delivery before money moves

For collection, use a suitable public arrangement and inspect the item where practical. For shipping, agree on a traceable method through the platform rather than a surprise link.

Handle pressure as a factor

Another buyer, a vanishing discount, or urgent travel can be real. Pressure matters when it combines with unclear identity, unusually low price, risky payment, or refusal to use normal platform steps.
